At this moment, dearest Dad is still in ICU. Slightly better than the days before, but still unable to breathe on his own. Was just remembering the moments before he fell seriously ill.

He was fine on Thursday morning. Was practically joking and perfectly his ownself. No complains of headaches or giddiness. Breakfast and marketing. No problem! He even cooked us lunch! But later that day, he started complaining of neck pain. It's usual for him to have neck pains followed by migraines every 6months. So, we werent worried. Thought he could rest at nite.

Luckily hubby insisted to stay at mum's place. Early friday morning, we had to have an ambulance ferry dad to the hospital. He complained of difficulty swallowing and vomitting. By the time we've reached TTSH, the docs have to sedate him and put him on ventilator so that he could breathe. He was parctically in veggie state due to the ventilator and propofol (steroid found overdose on MJ).

Thankfully, his condition seemed to have become better. He's no longer on ventilator but still couldnt breathe on his own. So, he's on nebulizer. And still being tube fed. The docs tried to remove the breathing tube from his mouth today, but he was still struggling to breathe on his own. The docs will try again tomorrow morning, and hopefully this time, he will succeed. Insya-allah. Amin.
