Currently at work, and planning a holiday trip for the family. Finance, itinerary, etc. I cant wait for it to happen. Mainly because it's the first holiday with BOTH kids! To celebrate 8yrs of dating & 6 yrs of marriage! And it's a start for more family holidays!
Initially, i wanted a trip out of Singapore via airplane. To let the kids have a feel on what it's like on an airplane. They're curious! First in the list was Bali. Again. Unlike the previois trip we went without the kids, my itinerary this time, was filled with kids' activities! After closely monitoring the flights, checking on the hotels, there was none which could accommodate our planned budget. Next up was Phuket. The price offered were irresistable! However, after going through the finances needed for the whole trip, it was not accommodating our budget too! There goes my dream destination. Will plan to head there in the near future? NO? Then, no choice, we're planning on a nearer holiday. And no planes involved. Still, it's out of Singapore.

Most importantly, the kids will enjoy themselves. They're going to have a splashing good time! And we, the parents, have some time off from work. Oh! I need a massage too! My body is aching so bad lately! And since Hubby and I do not want to waste our limited annual leaves, it's going to be a short-getaway.
I'm halfway through with the finance & itinerary planning. Already have in mind (and paper) of what we're going to do throughout the trip. It's in details too! How efficient! Right from day 1 till day 4! If all is good, i am making sure the itinerary is followed closely. Otherwise, it'll affect the budget i've decided to put aside. It'll be confirmed latest by MAY! Since the pricelist for June is not out yet, we still have time to re-calculate and re-plan. Insya-allah.
