01st & 2nd Feb

The day we've all have been waiting for has finally arrived. And it ended spendidly, i believe.

It's sad that my in-laws were'nt there to witness the matrimony. Which reminds me of my wedding day too...The newlyweds were worried that they did'nt get blessings from my in-laws. The bride was distracted on the wedding day itself.

My advice to the newlyweds, Bob & Fidah, mama is very stubborn. You'll shall know by now. But as time pass, she'll cool down and definitely give you the blessing that both of you deserve. It took quite awhile for mama to accept me as her daughter-in-law. It's not easy. But prove to her that both of you can raise your children and not trouble her with any of your marriage woos. Mama only gave your brother and me, 3 years. She said that my marriage will fail after that. But look at us now. It's coming to 7 years and we're still growing strong. We've proven her wrong.

Being married at a young age doesn't guarantee anyone that the marriage WILL fail. For those marrying at a later age will not guarantee an everlasting marriage too. It all depends on how you manage your marriage, and most importantly, please do give & take. Accept each other's weaknesses & strength. Always stand by each other whatever may come. Do keep in mind that you still have your brothers and sisters who'll help anytime.

Ok, enough said before it all reminds me of the rough days i had to go through while being married at 19. Which actually reminds me that both of you are 19 TOO! C ya soon newlyweds!
