Re-visit Paradise, 17th December

It's our final day here in Bali.

Since the day we arrived, we didn't get to take any pictures of our Villa. And so, here they are! The place was a bit far off from the main road. But it was quiet and peaceful. Luckily we rented a car. It would have been difficult for us to move around with taxi from here.

IDR2,800,000 for 5 nights. Our 1st night (13th Dec) was forfeited.

Love it here!
We loved it here! But, we do not recommend this Villa if you're fussy and expects 5-star facilities. Breakfast is from a menu to be ordered the night before. So-so. Not much choices. Even the breakfast drinks were limited. Private pool was not heated and it was super cold in the morning.

However, since i NEEDED a private pool, this Villa was within our budget and we just needed a place to crash. The whole place was gorgeous if it was well maintained.

After checking-out, we headed to Tanah Lot for shopping. Estimated driving time: 1 hour plus. The road to Tanah Lot looks very different from the time we visited 3 years back. So much change. It doesn't look familiar to me at all. Thanks to the GPS of cos!

Kinda disappointed as my shopping spree had to be cut short since most shops are closed for their festivities. Such a waste. However, we still managed to get a few stuff from here and enjoyed ourselves admiring the beautiful scenery.

After about an hour there, getting souvenirs for our family members, i requested the Mister to drive us to Sukawati Art Market. It took us a nearly 2 hours drive and we were VERY disappointed, All shops were closed! And it was only 3pm! Still still have up till 6pm before checking-in onto our return flight!

After much hesitation, the Mister drove back to Kuta for a sight-seeing and spend off the balance Rupiah we had in hand. Another regret decision cause we were robbed in broad daylight by the salesperson along the stretch. The reason why i hate most buying stuff at Kuta. For 2 school bags and 2 T-shirts, we were charged almost SGD100.00!!

Left Kuta by 6.30pm and arrived early for the return of the car rental. Checked-in on our flight and explored the new Ngurah Rai Airport.

Since we knew that KLM's flight to Singapore was a turnaround flight, i monitored everyminute of the flight, hoping that it won't get delayed or cancelled. The flight DPS about 10 mins late but we still managed to return Singapore by 12 midnight.

Alhamdulillah for the safe flight home. It was an amazing experience exploring the nature with my other half. Too bad we had to cancel our cycling trip due to our tiredness. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the 'Hornymoon' to BALI!

  • We shall visit Bali again and explore more of it's hidden treasures. The Mister has suggested that we shall return every year! Yeahness! We shall see you again very soon! Planning for longer return in June'15! This time round with the kids of cos!
